The first item you see in 1BOOM is that it allows you to readily add new people to your organization. Select the "Add a Person" menu item from the main screen and select the related "BOOM!" button. Now 1BOOM will let you add the details that will automate communication with this person, and control their access to the system.

From this page it is easy to set a user's ID and passwords, enter their email and other light personal info, and set their roles. The roles you apply will determine what information (responsibilities) a person has access to and is responsible for. The skills and notes can contain information which will enable context searches. Do you need to find only employees who know how to use Microsoft Word? If their skills are tracked in 1BOOM that will be easy!

When Penny logs in (above) she'll have ready access to everything she needs to know to be a top notch Clerk or Florist level 1 at Petunias flower mart. She'll be a happy person - and so will the Administrator Molly who knows the flowers are being handled well as are their customers.

The image above details your ability to determine a person's ability to edit responsibilities in your business's 1BOOM operations manual. A user can only review responsibilities if they are set to the default "No Edit" but cannot change them. If you set a user to "Edit Self," then when they log in they will have the ability to edit and update all of their responsibilities. "Edit All" is reserved for the most trusted employees. If a person is set to "Edit All," then they will have the ability to review and edit all responsibilities - even ones that don't apply to their roles.
